We often think of character as something that we are born with – anger, sadness or happiness. While according to some philosophers, it is possible to have a natural tendency, ultimately it is up to you if you will materialize that tendency. “Character is long-standing habit.” You need to develop and cultivate your character. You can internalize or change a tendency, although it may be harder for some people and easier for others. ‘It was the way I was born’ is not an excuse. You can always initiate a new habit.
